Off-Campus Student Information

This site intends to provide students who live or who desire to live in the near-off campus neighborhood with a variety of information.

Potential Renters

Students who are moving off campus often have many questions.  The DU Campus Life division maintains a Web site for students seeking off-campus housing.

Additionally, students need to know other important information, including:

What do I need to know before renting?

What are my rights as a tenant?

What common problems exist between a tenant and landlord?

Renters

Students who have signed a lease and moved into their off-campus housing also have common questions, including:

How do I get a parking permit?

When is trash picked up, and how does Denver Recycles work?

How are large trash items picked up?

What storage companies are nearby?

       Public Storage

       Pods

Student Conduct

The University of Denver is committed to being a good neighbor, and as such DU expects students to adhere to the Student Code of Conduct both on and off campus.

The University, Denver Police and the West University Community Association work closely together to mitigate problems in the neighborhood. This living guide was created to provide information to students about expectations when living in a neighborhood. All neighbor and police reports regarding student actions are reported to the Citizenship and Community Standards Office within Campus Life.
