Disability Services
All students with disabilities are welcome at the University of Denver. The University is dedicated to giving students with disabilities the support they need to succeed.
The Disability Services Program (DSP) will provide accommodations to help any student with a disability learn effectively. For example, DSP might provide
- Alternate-format text
- Course substitution
- Early registration
- Extended-time testing
- Sign language interpreters
- Note takers
- Accessibility software
Students with a disability, whether it's a physical disability, a psychological or psychiatric disability, or a learning disability, should schedule an interview with DSP before they start classes to find out what kind of help is available.
If you need extra help with a learning disability, DSP can refer you to the Learning Effectiveness Program, DU's individualized support program for students with learning disabilities.
