Due to the short length of this course, federally-funded financial aid is not available for the Publishing Institute through the University of Denver. You might investigate private loans for help with tuition costs; our students have had success with obtaining loans from their local banks. Please note that you will need to apply for a direct-to-consumer loan. These loans disburse directly to you and do not need school certification. Chase offers a direct-to-consumer loan called the Chase Private Student Loan. Learn more about this loan through their website at http://www.collegeloansite.com/chase-student-loans/non-traditional-students.aspx or by calling 1-866-471-0415. Sallie Mae offers a Tuition Answer Loan. You can find out about it at http://www.tuitionanswer.com The Publishing Institute does have an extremely modest scholarship fund from which to award financial aid. The awards are made on the basis of financial need to students accepted to the program and usually cover only a portion of tuition. To be considered for a scholarship, please include with your completed application a statement of financial need, along with any supporting documents you feel will best illustrate your particular circumstances. Our scholarship recipients will be selected in early April. The notification will be made simultaneously with the letter announcing acceptance. Please note that applications meeting the early admission deadline will not be reviewed for financial aid until after April 1. Also, through the generosity of the Professional/ Scholarly Publishing (PSP) Division of the Association of American Publishers, we are pleased to offer an additional scholarship. This funding is a part of the PSP Division's Annual Scholarship program. All scholarship recipients will be selected in early April. The notification will be made simultaneously with the letter announcing acceptance. |
